This year will be the final Hawke's Bay Health Awards as we know it, with DHBs being disestablished from July next year. We want to celebrate this final event and recognise present and past teams and individuals who have made a huge contribution to health in Hawke's Bay.
This is also the 10th Health Awards so we also want to make it a huge celebration and thank our sponsors over the past years. See our Sponsors page.
This is a new format for the event this year, with it being a daytime, family friendly event. There will be no cost for people to attend and health workers are encouraged to bring their families to the event.
There will be food trucks with an array of food available to purchase, and plenty of entertainment and fun activities.
We encourage people who have entered in previous awards programmes to enter again; either a new project or initiative, or in relation to a previous entry where there has been significant further work or review, and additional evidence and results obtained.
The Hawke’s Bay Health Awards process represents the most prestigious opportunity to showcase health in the region. You will gain publicity, exposure and recognition of your work, as well as the opportunity to highlight your commitment to achieving excellence in the services you provide. Award winners will be encouraged to present and showcase their initiative to others. This will ensure success and learnings are shared across the Hawke’s Bay health system.
